As we are now doing a lot of our business internationally we need to properly prepare employees for dealing with the difficulties they'll encounter when either living and working in another country and culture, or dealing regularly with staff or clients based elsewhere in the world.

Things have changed a lot since then, especially in the areas of technology, workforce planning and work-life balance. Effective time management can enable us to gain control over our time and to organise our fragmented and often chaotic environments. It involves learning to focus on the right things, while letting go of some of the routine and less important tasks.
